The 6th grade girls had a lot of fun dressing up for “Tichel Tuesday”.
Mrs. Goldwater’s 2nd grade class started a new science unit about the “Work of Water”. They did a fun experiment with model landscapes and spray bottles to demonstrate how rivers flow, and where they start and end.
On the 100th day of school, Mrs. Goldwater’s 2nd grade girls made 100 hearts to represent 100 acts of kindness, they did 100 jumping jacks and played a game called “Race to 100”!
We included the 100th day celebration in our On the Move classes. Students were encouraged to challenge themselves to jump rope, hula hoop, skip-it or pass/dribble a basketball 100 times. They could do this individually or work with partners or teams.
