finanical aid

At ACHDS, we are committed to offering financial aid to qualifying families. Below are various ways your family can make tuition more affordable.

The application process for ACHDS financial aid is administered through the FACTS online system which makes applying for a tuition scholarship faster, easier and more confidential. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will collect all the necessary information, perform an analysis and communicate with our financial aid department via a secure, web-based interface. The financial aid department will then review the analysis and make the final decision on award amounts.

To access FACTS, parents should apply for scholarship as follows:
FACTS will be accepting applications for current families with students in K-8 beginning February 1, 2024 through the application deadline of Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The deadline for new families to Arie Crown is July 5, 2024.
Below are the steps that will be needed:
1. Log in to FACTS at online.factsmgt.com/aid to complete an online application.
2. Be sure to upload all requested supporting documents specified in the application. Your application will not be considered complete and will not be eligible for review until all the requested documentation has been uploaded.
3. Please also note the following important items when filling out your application:
  • You must list all children in your family who will be in a tuition charging program (PreK to 12), not just your children attending Arie Crown.
  • If you are filing an extension for your 2023 taxes, please notify the school by emailing financialaid@ariecrown.org and submit your complete 2022 tax return and all 2023 W-2s to FACTS. Without notification to the school, your application will not be verified.
If you need help with the actual application, please call FACTS customer service directly at 1-866-441-4637.

Note: In order to qualify for financial aid from Arie Crown, eligible families are required to also apply for Invest in Kids scholarships through BOTH Empower Illinois and Big Shoulders Fund. Eligibility criteria can be found here or here.

If you have any questions about this process, please contact the school at financialaid@ariecrown.org.

As a reminder, any change in income +/- 10% for the year, must be reported to the business office to determine if any adjustment will be made to your current scholarship.
